Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
Originally I am from Byram, CT which is a small community in Greenwich, CT.

I have 1 son that is 22 and a 10 year old tabby cat who also believes he is my son. 🙂
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I am a HUGE Metal Head, anything from the 70’s up to today.
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
There are so many people it would take pages to fill up. I have to start with my parents who instilled a work ethic in me and also to my dad who treated everyone the same. No matter if they were a celebrity or the person who cleaned up the hospital rooms (as he worked at Greenwich Hospital) he treated everyone the same. I take that with me every day. Always treat people the way you would like to be treated but not to expect it – do it because it is the right thing to do. Also, have to thank my husband who is my partner in everything and my rock when I needed it.
Favorite things to do with your kids?
When our son was young we would go to the zoo and also anywhere that had animals as he LOVES animals. Then as he got older and has similar tastes in music we go to concerts (pre covid) and also we love My Hero Academia- an animated series. We also love to do Just Dance and play video games. We love to take walks together and admire the wildlife we are so lucky to have in our own backyard!

I am a full time scheduling coordinator at a local start up business along with my husband and son and hubby and I are the proud owners of From The Heart Candles, LLC out of our basement. The house we live in is over 100 years old and was built by my great grandparents, who moved to Rye in the late 1800s from Italy. Our business is the 4th one run out of this house throughout its history!
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Rye is an amazing community with a lot of helpful people. Business owners in town have offered to
showcase our candles as well as being part of the Historical Society’s annual artisan fair.
