So happy to introduce you to our newest Meet a Mom… Stacy Bayer.
Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I was born in Brooklyn and moved around as a kid. I’ve lived in Connecticut, Rochester, NY and graduated high school in Philadelphia. I moved to this area 3 weeks before I had my first daughter so have lived here for 13 years.
Child(ren) and Age(s)?
I have 2 girls ages 13 (Gabby) and 11 (Kyra).
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
This year my doubles tennis partner and I won the Westchester/Rockland league championship in our USTA ranking. We are not going to Wimbledon, but it was very exciting!
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
When I moved here I did not know anyone, I would drive almost an hour to have playdates with my friends who lived in other parts of Westchester and New Jersey. Once my daughter started pre-school at Community Synagogue of Rye, I started meeting new people and many are still very good friends to this day. And of course my husband Alex who is my partner in all of this and since we have never had any family nearby to help out, it has truly been a team effort.
Favorite things to do with your kids?
Listen to music, play tennis, bake, go bowling, go to shows, go shopping.

My husband and I, as well as some other partners, own TotalFusion, a boutique fitness studio located in Harrison.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
We have met so many great people who live in our community. We have tailored our classes to meet the needs of our members and have created an environment where anyone who comes to our studio feels comfortable and can find a class that works for them. We have built a strong sense of community by donating to various local organizations and events and have held many fundraisers at our studio.
