Thursday is July 11.
Why should you care? Well, July 11 is the annual “7-Eleven Day” and customers of the national convenience store can pick up a free small Slurpee from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at all stores while supplies last.
U.S. stores will give away an estimated 9 million free Slurpees on Thursday, 7-Eleven says.

You ought to be able to get to one, even if there isn’t a store in your home town. There are plenty of 7-Elevens in the Hudson Valley, from Garnerville (seriously, that’s the first Hudson Valley location on the company’s alphabetical list of New York stores) to Yorktown Heights.

“7‑Eleven Day has become the busiest day of the year for 7‑Eleven stores as millions of both existing and new customers flock to our stores to celebrate with their favorite frozen drink and other special food deals,” said Raj Kapoor, 7‑Eleven senior vice president for fresh food and proprietary beverages.
If you join the store’s 7REWARDS program and use the app to scan your free Slurpee, a coupon (good for 30 days) for another free Slurpee of any size will show up in the app on Friday.
