Rye City School District is Partnering with Americares to Provide Hurricane Disaster Relief
We are Committed to Delivering Medicine and Critical Aid to People in Need
We are experiencing the first major hurricane season to make a significant impact in the U.S. in over 12 years, and millions of people are being affected.
Hurricane Irma: Americares deployed emergency response experts in the Caribbean and the U.S. to assist in relief efforts for communities in the path of Hurricane Irma, one of the most powerful Atlantic hurricanes ever recorded. Working with our health center partners in our U.S. Program in Florida, we pre-positioned emergency supplies, and we are responding to their immediate needs. More
Hurricane Harvey: Americares emergency response team in Texas is working with local partners to help survivors of the catastrophic impact of Hurricane Harvey that brought destruction and unprecedented floods to wide areas. In addition to multiple emergency shipments of medicine and supplies, the team is supporting health care access for those in critical need of services. More
Americares has a long history of responding to severe storms in the United States including Hurricane Sandy in 2012 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
