Three Blind Brook High School Girls Giving Underprivileged Girls the Gift of Prom | Rye & Rye Brook Moms

reWEARable is a non-profit organization with the mission of providing young girls with a newfound confidence. Through donations, this charity provides dresses and accessories to girls for prom who may not otherwise be able to afford them. reWEARable also strives to improve the urban Detroit area by making young girls feel special and beautiful on their prom night.
Blind Brook High School students Anna Campbell, Emily Cohen and Jenna Kamin are calling on all members of the Westchester community whose closet could use a good clean out. reWEARable celebrates all shapes and sizes, making sure to reach the hearts of all girls in the community. But their efforts are not possible without the financial contributions and donations of goods from caring communities outside of Detroit. All kids care about the magic of prom and Anna, Jenna and Emily are doing everything possible to help these girls feel good about themselves as they reach this rite of passage in their lives.
The girls are collecting gently used dresses, shoes, jewelry and accessories in all sizes!  Here are the ways in which to help:

  1. Drop off your gently used items to either Anna, Jenna or Emily by this Friday, March 1st. Please email any of the three girls for the drop off address. They will each have a box outside of their homes.                                                                                                      Emily Cohen [email protected]
