Rye Town Park & Oakland Beach

Located along the Long Island Sound, this large waterfront park in Rye includes grassy picnic areas, a seasonal restaurant, and gentle, family-friendly waves at Oakland Beach. The park hosts concerts and community events in summer, making it a perfect all-day outing.

Playland Beach

Glen Island Park & Beach

This scenic 130-acre park in New Rochelle features a small but lovely beach, boat launch, picnic areas, and sweeping views. Note: Admission is limited to Westchester County residents with valid ID.

Harbor Island Park – Stephen E. Johnston Beach

In the heart of Mamaroneck, this park features a beach with calm waters, a splash pad, and a playground nearby. It’s ideal for families with younger kids.

As Westchester County’s largest pool, Saxon Woods offers ample space for swimming and sunbathing, along with picnic areas and a playground.

Willson’s Waves at Willson’s Woods Park

Harbor Island Park Splash Pad

This fenced splash pad in Mamaroneck is steps from the beach and playground, making it a favorite for families with little ones. Open daily in season from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
